Why We Built This Site
Finding an Ochiltree record begins with the court or office named on the underlying paper. There is no countywide public criminal-warrant search or dedicated Sheriff warrant unit listed on the official county site. The Sheriff publishes a main phone contact and a link to the jail roster, which is arranged around custody. The JP, city courts, County Clerk, and District Clerk each handle different questions. A roster search can be useful after an arrest, but it cannot stand in for a live court-status check. This private reference organizes the official routes, local limits, and request channels so residents can contact the office that holds the relevant record.
What You Will Find Here
- Warrant lookups: how to use the official county and court routes and what the linked jail roster can show
- Outstanding warrants: why the Sheriff’s roster is not a full active-warrant list
- Missed court dates: how bench warrants arise and which court holds them
- Arrest process: how arrest warrants relate to magistrates, case files, and serving agencies
- Resolution: questions to raise with counsel and the court about bond, appearance, or a motion to recall
What We Cannot Do
This is a private reference service, not part of an Ochiltree County, Texas court, Sheriff’s Office, city police department, or state agency. It cannot take official action:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or warrant listing on this site is current right now
Ochiltree has no published Sheriff warrant-unit line. Ask the Sheriff about service or custody and contact the issuing court for its status and any recall or clearance.
Search Partners
Search boxes on some pages are operated by outside providers, which control their own pricing, data handling, and results. If a visitor follows a tool to a paid service, the site may receive a referral fee. Those results are not an official check by the Ochiltree Sheriff, a municipal court, the JP, or a clerk, and we do not set the provider’s terms.
